I was her neighbor and worked from home and my office was right next to the main sidewalk and street area and I would see Katie every day multiple times a day walking her dog. Often times I would yell out the window to have her stop so I could chat and pet her dog. Katie loves to go on walks, runs and enjoys playing with her pets. I think she’d be a great asset to whoever utilizes her.”

About: I grew up in a household where out pets were an important part of our family and understand the importance of continuity of care for your furry friend while you are away! I grew up taking care of family pets, mostly medium to large breed dogs including german shepherds and bully breeds. I have several years of experience volunteering at a local bully breed shelter and often pet-sit for family and friends when they are away! I am currently a graduate student nearing the end of my master's program and will have a few months of free time before rolling into my doctorate program in the fall! I currently work from home part-time and have a very flexible schedule. I understand the importance of routine and safety for your furry friends which is why I offer in-home sitting services to maintain your pets' daily routine in the comfort of their own home! I also know how important exercise and engagement can be in your pets' wellbeing and am committed to maintaining the same integrity of exercise frequency and intensity that you provide your pet on a normal basis!

“For the time that I have know Alanis, I’ve seen a very strong sense of ambition, determination and curiosity. That’s not only with pets, but with life in general. I used to be a proud owner to a German Shepherd that unfortunately passed, but Alanis was always there helping me out, assisting me and being a friend to my dog. She would take him to the park and she would go hiking with us on weekends. My dog absolutely loved her and he had a strong connection/bond with her.
